Gas suction pyrometer
Outer jacket can be cooled with water, for use in temperatures > 700 °C, with cooling quenching and subsequent heated gas line.
Scope of application:
For measuring the gas temperature in hot gases and for determining the actual gas composition of reactive gases.
The quench cools off the exhaust gas quickly. Sequential reactions of the gas components, such as oxidations, are so greatly reduced that they are regarded as nearly stopped.
The gas is heated by means of a High-Performance-Heater-Cartridge (~ 500 W / m, 230 V) after the quench in order to prevent any temperatures below dew point.
A NiCr-Ni thermocouple at the output of the quench detects the gas temperature for optimizing the cooling capacity.
Exit with following connections:
- Power supply with NiCr-Ni for regulation of the heating temperature
- G ¾" connection for gas extraction
- On request G ¾" connection for a compressed air connection (max. 2 bar) to purge the suction line
- NiCr-Ni connection for measuring the gas temperature behind the quench
- Connection for thermocouple for positioning in ceramics (high temperature measurement)
- Connections for cooling water.
Entry:
- Interchangeable bayonet socket for ceramic shields (VDI or IFRF).
Price for nominal length of 2000 mm.
Other lengths and changes possible, please contact us.
