Sampling line for PCB and PAH according to VDI 3874
System developed from HLUG (Hessian Agency for the Environment and Geology):
Complete adsorption-sampling system (without probe) consisting of:
- holder for mounting at suction tube,
- fixing system for the bottle,
- cooling bath for bottle with connection to cryostat,
- one amber glass bottle with Gl 45 thread and closing cap (250 ml, H: 138, Ø 70 mm),
- all glass connectors in amber glass, with all gaskets and screw connections:
- intake tube B, GL 25, 12 mm tube
- connection part C, GL32 + 2 x GL18
- glas angle
- liquid-thermometer 0..50 °C,
- double-adsorption cartridges from clear Duran glass.
A partial stream is taken isokinetically with a cooled probe (not in the delivery capacity). The condensable fraction is deposited in the probe and condensate vessel at a temperature of <20 ° C. Two XAD-2 adsorbers are used for the separation of low-molecular, volatile PAH. The sample gas flow is to be set approx. 1 m³ / h.
