Psychrometer for the measurement of the gas humidity

Two thermometer method for the humidity measurement according to psychrometer function.

Scope of delivery:

• Stainless Steel tube and PVC water pot, entry and exit G ¾, 
• with two thermocouples NiCr-Ni type K,
• with two temperature indicators,
• one EXCEL spreadsheet to calculate the humidity and dew point from the temperatures,
• coupling for the exit of the suction tube,
• fast connector for the suction hose.

Function:

1. The gas must be sucked at one dry (A) and one wet (B) thermocouple (Psychrometer function).
2. From the temperature difference between wet and dry thermocouple can calculate the gas humidity.

Parameters:

• maximum of the gas temperature: 100 °C,
• gases more as 100 °C must cooled down below 100 °C, eg. by using a non heated suction tube,
• dew point must below 100 °C.

Not in the scope of delivery, but necessary:

• suction tube with filter,
• adjustable pump with suction hose.
