Smooth, seamless extensible Prandtl (L-) pitot tube

according to VDI 2640, part 3 and ISO 16911 without factor.

For the extensions has the Pitot tube an outer thread.

The extensions can be shoved over the exit of the pressure tubes and be fixed with the thread.

• nominal length (L): 500 mm,
• leg-length:~ 121 mm, short version: 65 mm,
• Ø 10 mm,
• exit thread for extensions, G1 at Ø 40 mm, G ¾ at 30 mm, G ½ at 25 mm,
• pressure tubes: smooth, tube 6 mm, at Ø 25 mm: 4,5 mm,
• up to 500 °C,
• material: Stainless Steel.

At Ø 40 mm the pressure lines can be extended with cutting ring fittings and stainless steel tubes. As a result, the Pitot tube can be used up to 500 °C. In the extensions with Ø 30 and 25 mm can be inserted only hoses. Then the maximum temperature is limited by the hose material.

Caution: The extensions of Ø 30 and 25 mm should not exceed a free-hanging length of 3000 mm.
