Quartz wool 500 g

• chemically pure,
• fiber size 5 to 30 µm,
• for stuffing the filter catridge,
• Maximum temperature for Quartz fibre: 700 °C.

Basic requirements for filter materials:
The filter material shall not react with or adsorb gaseous compounds contained in the gas to be sampled, and shall be thermally stable, taking into account maximum temperature anticipated (conditioning, sampling etc.).

Despite their weak mechanical properties quartz fibre filters are proven to be efficient in most cases.
Quartz fibre has proved to be resistant to chemical influences and does not show any considerable mass changes due to reaction with flue gas components as HF, HCl, SO2, SO3, H2SO4, NO and NO2.
